What we are expecting Apple to show us from this event are:

• Three new iPhones, the three new iPhones  are iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and an “iPhone X.” That iPhone X model  is having a different iphone design but the functionalities is not far from what we were expecting .It is expected to offer a full-face OLED screen and a new design where the home button is completely removed.
• A new Apple Watch with LTE support for cellular wireless.
• A new 4K Apple TV.
• The final version of iOS 11.
• And possible details of the proposed HomePod Smart Speaker.

On June 29, 2007, the first iPhone was released. On June 11, 2007, Apple announced at the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference that the iPhone would support third-party applications using the Safari engine.

2017 will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and Apple has something major planned to celebrate the occasion. Apple has a major iPhone redesign planned for 2017, with a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that does away with the Home button and perhaps replaces Touch ID with a new facial recognition system. The new iPhone may be sold alongside upgraded (but standard) 4.7 and 5.5-inch iPhones.

On Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. PT, the company will hold its inaugural event at the Steve Jobs Theater at its newly built headquarters in Cupertino, California. The official invitation, distributed to media on Aug. 31, follows tech blog Mac4Ever’s report that Apple plans to bring out new phones at an event on Sept. 12.

Whatever they’re called, Apple hopes the new phones will cast a big iPhone-shaped shadow over Samsung’s brand new Galaxy Note 8 — and drive up sales before its financial quarter closes on Sept. 30. (The premium model is reported to start at around $1,000.) In addition to a redesigned flagship iPhone with an OLED display, new UI and facial recognition technology, we also expect see other products introduced, including the Apple Watch 3 and a new 4K Apple TV.

Apple tested more than 10 prototype iPhone models, leading to a lot of mixed rumors floating around, but the general design and the features we can expect have mostly been nailed down, including in leaks from Apple itself.

The iPhone 8 is expected to feature a radical redesign, with an edge-to-edge display that does away with the top and bottom bezels where features like the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and the front-facing camera are housed. Rumors suggest Touch ID could be eliminated entirely in favor of robust facial recognition technology, which Apple is confirmed to be working on. There will be no physical Home button on the iPhone 8 and no bezels aside from a small area for the front-facing camera.

With an edge-to-edge design, the iPhone 8 may be similar in size to the 4.7-inch iPhone, but with a display the size of the 5.5-inch iPhone. Rumors suggest it will feature a 5.8-inch display with 5.15 inches of usable area, with the rest dedicated to virtual space that will replace the Home button. A series of gestures may be used to navigate instead of a Home button.

The display itself is said to be a flexible plastic OLED rather than an LCD, allowing Apple to introduce a thinner device that consumes less power and offers a better display with higher contrast ratio and more true to life colors.
